Have a Safe journey in auto...

With two of my friends i went to have Hyderabadi biriyani on the eve of Durga puja. Wah... what a delicious delight :-) And on top of that the special sweety 'Double ka meetha'. Had a wonderful lunch and looking for a share auto to get into and return home...

We boarded the auto and within seconds the heart had started beating faster and faster as the speed of the auto was increasing. The auto just shook me when the driver was trying to overtake a pulsar rider...

"Bhaiya, thoda dhire chalo"... i screamed... This was not because of the fear for this instance, but because of the irritation i have developed from past experiences with auto rickshaw people. Some of the things which i have not liked about these people/system:
- Loud music in the auto; very noisy for people sitting at the back.
- Driving fast as if they are in a race.
- Commenting girls sitting in another auto or walking on the road (not all the auto drivers do this).
- Rude behavior of some of them towards customers.

The first day i was in the city, had a bitter experience with this system. i was sitting on the front cabin of the auto on the left side of the driver. At one point of time at a junction the driving was as such that i found the rickshaw in from of a mini truck, which just saved us by some fraction of seconds. And it was due to over confidence of that driver !!

They are free to drive their own way but as long we are there in their auto, i think they should drive as per us, in terms of conduct on the road. My dear friends, we have to speak it out to them without being indifferent towards our safety-at-their-hand. This will reinforce a good conduct on them and they would be cautious while drive.

At any point i don't want to see anyone loosing their life or getting hurt on an auto ride...

Have a Safe journey...

Lagan re-visiting in India

Date: 31-Jul-2012

From last week, there has been lot of unrest because of IAC movement and Anna Hazare joining on Fast-on-to-death along with Arvind Kejriwal and two of his other friends (learned later on that more than 100 people were their in the Fasting group). The country seems to be standing up again. And i felt during this period of time we (who feel for this movement) should be spreading message, provoking/urging people to stand up and be a part of solution...

This movement seems to me like an Up-gradation process to the country. If this fails we will go into a mode where this chance is not going to come to us very soon.

Arvind Ji said:
"This movement hasn't flopped. Those who r rejoicing it has flopped, r actually laughing over their loss as it is their own nation, their children have to live in it. Do they want to give them a super-corrupt nation ??
Nation gets very few chances like this to save it's fate. First Gandhi, then JP and now Anna has given us this chance. If Anna fails, nation wont get another chance for next 30 years."

And the worst part here is media is not covering it full-fledged as it seems they have been instructed to do so.

i am feeling the need of the country Now is to spread these messages and awaken the fellow countrymen and strengthen the spirit of the movement 'at the least'. May be we need to do it for some more time until the country gets its due of a good law in forms of Lokpal Bill or something better to handle the situations around.

i had started putting messages on Face book and it seems people are responding to it. i have put below message:
====================
Vande Maataram,
Dear fellow country men & women, now the country needs our status updated as supporters of the struggle for a better India - our country. A lot of people have put their life at stake for us and our future generations. Let us stop uploading our photos or entertaining anything else than strengthening the spirit of the movement. We have these forums to raise our voice and keep praying through it...

Let us stand for - India Against Corruption. Let us keep posting/updating/uploading anything to do with IAC.

A wonderful response has come as below:

Harshad Shah
It is not that people do not understand or do not want the things to change. In fact they themselves are victims of corruption but they have adopted the attitude of convenience. So long as they are beneficiary through corruption, they prefer to keep mum, and if aggrieved then start blaiming the whole world as hopeless but doesnt have that courage to stand against it openly. Believe me they are always the silent admirers of your efforts to fight against corruption and soon will realize that This is for their own good and shall definitely join you. See the experience of "LAGAN", Bhuvan alone started and he got the team in due course. So NEVER EVER GIVE UP.

And a few words for those who are sufferers but still not comming forward to fight for right. IF you are ill, you yourself have to swallow the medicine pill, there is no BLUE TOOTH PILL that can be swallowed by others and you get the curing result. SO THINK WHERE YOU STAND & BE THE PART OF THIS BATTLE FOR YOUR OWN SURVIVAL.

Media in India...

Media in India...

We have freedom to media in India, and what do they do, to my understanding, they create tension, create panic, instability and what not.... Though a good amount of fear among the law makers or breakers still remain, but it's a question to me and will always remain so... who is afraid of whom?

i saw the news channels interviewing people at blast sites in Delhi in the recent unfortunate accident. So as people all over the country including who have done it saw... we together saw the devastation and also saw the fear of citizen on the TV. Don't you think this would boost their confidence see fear in people's face? It is natural but what is the point in showing the brutality again and again, i could not eat that night and i am sure a lot of you also would not have...

Is the media not weakening the attitude of our's looking at life?

i am not blaming media, it has done wonders to the nation...
Then where we have reached, we have to move faster, and each of us has to work together putting aside our personal interests. Are we not at the same place, where quality of leaving of people is the same as years before?

There are so many success stories, happy stories of people which is so encouraging... so enriching. Are we made aware of them? Not really....

i can understand the fact that, All news does not sale, But that is (actually) needed and media has to show it's creativity in doing that...

It's a challenge to media, all of us have to understand that and work towards that to see...

Let the bomb BLAST???

Another blast in India - the capital city "Delhi"...

i came to know about the blast while watched a news in a shop in J P Nagar, where i stopping to ask about disposing the defected key board and the mother board lying in my room... i was shocked... but not much - have become used to it by now after listening about Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Bangalore. Hyderabad... recently within couple of months...

Called up one of my friend and tried some others to know their situation, [remembered the movie 'A Wednesday' which i saw on 10 Sept]. Felt little solaced listening about their wellness. Same time this disease of serial blasts troubled/ disturbed me..... Came back home - tried some other friends, but the disturbance is still there in me.... WHY???

it has been clear by now, as people responding that, what ever these people (Terrorists or whoever) are doing, they are just to disturb/ trouble the normal way of living... and i strongly feel that is the only reason and along with a hope in them to encourage/ catalyze the communal disharmony in the society. But by now they had been happening till some time before, but people have understood, by now who is being targeted.... and why!!!

We need to introspect at this point of time... couple of things...
- We want to be target of them
- We need to take some steps which will demoralize their confidence of their hope to destabilize the society.
- More thoughts you will also have, please do share....

Coming back to my life that evening, i came along my friends who were preparing for a Saturday night celebration with bear and food... i was not shocked really but little unhappy... Some of my friends still think these things are being done by Muslims, but here i have some thoughts around this.....

Do the people who are doing all these nuisance know who is who.. Weather a Muslim or Hindu or Christian or... if they are Muslim or Hindu did they inform their friends before the incidents... NO... then from where this question arises...

After almost 4 years looking at this post... what was there that evening is no more fresh in mind but a recent incident in an auto rickshaw ride gave me another angle to it...

Am i here to Live and Leave?

Am i contributing/ adding value to my living in this world?
Or...
Am i living selfishly to sustain myself in this "much to be looked after" society/ Country/ World?

Don't we all want peace, growth, harmony in our life?
But then why we are not getting? Either we are not working towards that or the work we are doing is not taking us towards that...

Here i am not referring of the "Peace" we achieve when we breadth our last, i am talking of the "Peace" which i can realize while breathing along with you.

my observation in day-to-day life is, we have developed or rather developing a habit to put ourselves in a mode to achieve power moment by moment - at all stages of life. Our love for power is increasing day by day. A question comes to my mind - Are we going to achieve peace with more power? i feel when the power of love will overcome the love of power, the world will see peace.

Now you (my dear reader) may say i am dreaming for a better world... (i would continue putting my thoughts further... since now connection to my feeling is lost as i am feeling hungry)...

love & prayer,

I Have a Dream...

i saw the video of Martin Luther King - His historical soeech "I have a Dream", and was prompted to put down my dreams...

-----------------

i have a dream One day...

My brother and sister would be known not only for the care they have towards me but for the care they carry in their little hearts for the world around them, i have a dream, one day… My parents would not only feel attached to me as because i am their own child but also because they feel connected to a child sleeping under no-roof and eating nothing for his livelihood, i have a dream, one day… my neighbours come out of their house and call me to join them going around different houses looking after the older ones who are not being looked after properly by coincidence, i have a dream, .

i have a dream, one day the people of my nation would not be known for the differences of their religion but for the understanding of each other's religion.

but dreams are those which do not let you sleep.... - Dr. Kalam
