Have a Safe journey in auto...
With two of my friends
i went to have Hyderabadi biriyani on the eve of Durga puja. Wah... what a
delicious delight :-) And on top of that the special sweety 'Double ka meetha'.
Had a wonderful lunch and looking for a share auto to get into and return home...
We boarded the auto
and within seconds the heart had started beating faster and faster as the speed
of the auto was increasing. The auto just shook me when the driver was trying
to overtake a pulsar rider...
"Bhaiya, thoda
dhire chalo"... i screamed... This was not because of the fear for this
instance, but because of the irritation i have developed from past experiences
with auto rickshaw people. Some of the things which i have not liked about
these people/system:
- Loud music in the
auto; very noisy for people sitting at the back.
- Driving fast as if
they are in a race.
- Commenting girls
sitting in another auto or walking on the road (not all the auto drivers do
this).
- Rude behavior of
some of them towards customers.
The first day i was in
the city, had a bitter experience with this system. i was sitting on the front
cabin of the auto on the left side of the driver. At one point of time at a
junction the driving was as such that i found the rickshaw in from of a mini
truck, which just saved us by some fraction of seconds. And it was due to over
confidence of that driver !!
They are free to drive
their own way but as long we are there in their auto, i think they should drive
as per us, in terms of conduct on the road. My dear friends, we have to speak
it out to them without being indifferent towards our safety-at-their-hand. This
will reinforce a good conduct on them and they would be cautious while drive.
At any point i don't
want to see anyone loosing their life or getting hurt on an auto ride...
Have a Safe journey...
